CEOS of the 500 Largest Companies: Korea University as the Largest Academic Network

Korea University Business School (Dean= Kim Jaewook) has the largest number of CEOs in the top 500 companies. According to a survey conducted by a corporation evaluation website CEOScore, (CEO=Park Jugeun) on July 10 in which 676 CEOs from the 495 companies out of the top 500 companies were examined, Korea University Business School produced 28 CEOs, accounting for 5.1 percent of the total number.
 

In the survey, 23.3 percent of the total was business administration majors, and only Korea University Business School surpassed 5 percent out of other business schools. On the ranking based on single departments of universities, 28 students were from Korea University Business School, followed by the Business Administration department at Seoul National University (4.6 percent and 25 people), Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Seoul National University (2.9 percent and 16 people), Business Administration at Yonsei University (2.8 percent and 15 people), and Economics at Seoul National University (2.6 percent and 14 people).
 
Furthermore, the number of people who graduated from 'SKY' Universities amounted to 241 people, accounting for 42.6 percent. Out of the total number, Korea University produced 64 people, or 11.3 percent, which ranked second in the overall university rankings, but Korea University Business School ranked first in terms of a single department of a university.
