Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (WU Vienna) is located in the center of European economy, Vienna, Austria. The University is a specialized institution for economics and business administration courses, and they have the largest number of students in Austria, a total of 22,000.
Established on 1898, WU Vienna has more than 200 partner schools, which reflects its position as the center of global economic exchange. Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration has achieved exceptional accreditations from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, which are granted for less than 1% institutions across the world. In particular, AACSB is accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, which is one of the top prestigious accreditation in the business studies circle.
Moreover, WU Vienna has achieved high ranks among universities globally. On 2017, WU Vienna ranked 13th among 95 Master of International Business programs by Financial Times. Earlier on 2016, the University’s MBA ranked 44th out of 100 best MBA programs in the world.
In QS World University Ranking by subject, this year WU Vienna ranked in the top 51-100th for the subject of business administration. The University placed on the 101-150th rank for Accounting and finance. 
In 2015, Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration elected the world’s first female president (Rector), reaffirming its position of one of leading universities in the world.
