AACSB, EQUIS Double-Accredited Business School
KUBS currently holds 5-year accreditation from AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System).

In Europe and the U.S., where the field of business studies was born and developed, stringent standards have been established to assess business schools and enable the most prestigious to be accredited. This practice has served as a major barometer of credibility and quality of education for prospective students and academics.

These accreditations mean that the undergraduate and graduate schools of KUBS have been endorsed by the highest levels of business studies academia as globally competitive institutions and they stand as a testament to the quality of KUBS as a leading business educational institution in Korea, and its recognition as such in the U.S. and Europe.

Established in the U.S. in 1916, AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)  is a global membership association for the management education industry, whose members include deans of business schools. It endorses the educational quality of business schools that pass its stringent specifications.
  • August 2005: Acquired 5-year Accreditation
  • May 2010: Acquired 5-year Re-accreditation 
  • April 2015: Acquired 5-year Re-accreditation
EQUIS, well known for its demanding and conservative requirements, bases its five-year accreditation on attributes such as educational environment, program quality, faculty, educational facilities, and globalization being considered uniformly excellent, while a three-year accreditation is awarded when there are some opportunities to improve in certain areas. Currently, 156 business schools worldwide have won EQUIS Accreditation and only 83 business schools have been endorsed with a 5-year EQUIS Accreditation.
