Amounts: Full tuition for those with a GPA of 4.5 (Highest and Great Honors); 35% for others (Honors)
Selection period: Spring semester – from the end of January to early February; Fall semester – from the end of July to early August

 
Scholarships for students from underprivileged families: Awarded to students from underprivileged families who are selected by the Students Affairs Department (of KU headquarter)  based on their income bracket from among applicants for national scholarships (no separate application required)

Amounts: 100%, 50% and 35% of tuition, or a specific amount
Selection period: Spring semester – from the end of January to early February; Fall semester – from the end of July to early August

Benefit period: 8 semesters (Department of Architecture in the College of Engineering – 10 semesters; College of Medicine – 12 semesters)
Condition for the continuation of endowment: a GPA of 3.5 or higher
Acquired credits: At least 18 credits per semester (17 if 130 credits are required for graduation) or 12 credits after the seventh enrolled semester (ninth for the Department of Architecture in the College of Engineering, eleventh for the College of Medicine)

-Crimson Scholarship

Amounts: Full tuition (including admission fees)
Selection criteria: Awarded to those within the top 3% of admissions (regular and early) to each college who achieve Level 1 in all four categories of the Korean SAT

Condition for the continuation of endowment: a GPA of 3.5 or higher
Acquired credits: At least 18 credits (17 if 130 credits are required for graduation)

-College Dean Scholarship

Amounts: Full tuition (including admission fees)
Selection criteria: Awarded to the holder of the top admission score for colleges without an Anam Scholarship beneficiary (one in total selected from regular and early admissions)
Benefit period: 2 semesters
Condition for the continuation of endowment: a GPA of 3.5 or higher
Acquired credits: At least 18 credits (17 if 130 credits are required for graduation)

-Honor Scholarship for New Entrants

Amounts: Full admission fees, 70% of lecture fees
Selection criteria: Awarded to those within the top 6% of admissions to each college (regular and early admissions)

Amounts: Full admission fees, 35%, 50%, or 100% of lecture fees 
Selection criteria: Awarded to freshmen from underprivileged families

-Miraero Scholarship

Amounts: Full tuition (including admission fees)
Selection criteria: Awarded to entrants through the special admission process for those from underprivileged families, basic livelihood security recipients, and student breadwinners
Benefit period: 8 semesters (4 for transfer students)
Note: If Miraero Scholarship recipients are no longer eligible for basic livelihood security (income bracket 0) after applying for national scholarships, they cannot receive the Miraero Scholarship.
 

-Somang Scholarship

Amounts: Full admission fees, 50% of lecture fees 
Selection criteria: Awarded to students from underprivileged families (within income bracket 8) from among entrants through the special admission process for special education or with a disability

Amounts: Airfare for a one-way trip (up to KRW 1.5 million)
